The new Procurement Act was passed by parliament on 26th October 2023 and will be coming into full force in October 2024. This means that all public sector organisations must prepare for the new Procurement Act.

The UK Government has introduced several documents and guidance information, with the original Procurement Act document being highly detailed. This could require the need for individuals and teams to dedicate resource and time to fully understand the new Procurement Act and how best to navigate the changes.

We understand that not every organisation has the capacity or inhouse expertise to effectively navigate the new Procurement Act, ensuring compliancy and maintaining efficient procurement. This is where our Legal Services framework can help.

Working collaboratively with our awarded suppliers who specialise in procurement law, they can provide the necessary assistance and training to ensure that the individuals in your organisation that are responsible for procurement are fully up to speed. This is a cost and resource-effective method of navigating the new Procurement Act and is available to all UK public sector organisations.
