We raised £105 for Save the Children!

This holiday season, teams across Procurement Services arranged their own Christmas Jumper days to wear their festive gear and help raise money for the charity ‘Save the Children’!

This included festive-themed activities such as:

• Pass the parcel
• Secret Santa
• Team-building activities
• Christmas quizzes
• Christmas decorations around the office
• Mince pies and snacks
• Getting together for a well-deserved break!

Supporting Save the Children in their mission

This incredible organisation works in the UK and over 100 countries to provide a range of services to increase access of vital resources and improve quality of life for children and their families, including:

•     Training midwives to enable safe birth for women in vulnerable conditions such as war zones.
•      Setting up Emergency Health Units for temporary shelter and access to medical care.
•      Global programmes helping children get access to education in conflict zones and low-income areas, because every child has the right to learn.
• Reuniting families that have been separated due to war zones or climate change. Working with partners, they've reunited a record 7,000 children with their families in South Sudan.
•      Providing access to food to tackle childhood malnutrition, because no child should ever go without food and there is enough to go round.
• Health and nutrition programmes, and hospital resources and staff training provision to provide medical care and reduce child mortality.
• And so much more!

This organisation carries out such incredible work every day to support vulnerable children and families across the world in low-income areas and dangerous environments. We are proud to be able to support them in their mission of compassion.
