October 30, 2025 in Procurement Services

During late October this year, teams from across Procurement Services got together for Breast Cancer Now’s “Wear it Pink” event to raise money for the charity, share stories and raise awareness of early intervention for Breast Cancer.

This included:

  • Wearing pink to the office to show our support!
  • Bringing in pink snacks and lemonade
  • Hosting pink-themed quizzes and activities
  • Creating an open dialogue for conversation
  • Displaying information on importance of checking your chest
  • And so much more!

Creating a positive impact

Together we have raised £110 for Breast Cancer Now, which will go towards funding research and support services for early intervention and treatment, such as:

  • Funding research for breast cancer diagnosis and treatment across the UK and Ireland.
  • Improving quality of life for those affected by breast cancer.
  • Specialist nurse and medical care provision.
  • Leading campaigns for positive change, such as better access to medication for those with secondary breast cancer.
  • Spreading awareness of the importance of early intervention and how to check your chest for symptoms.
  • Volunteering services
  • And so much more…

Their vision is that by 2050, everyone diagnosed with breast cancer will live – and be supported to live well.

Thank you to everyone who took part and donated towards this incredible organisation, you are helping to change the lives of people affected by breast cancer.
